King Kaufman uses Brandan Wright's decision to go pro and the ensuing press conference as a jumping-off point to discuss the decision between academia and the NBA. His point is rather obvious - college is fun! - but pokes a couple of holes in the sanctimony of announcers pitching the stay in school message.

I do believe Wright will return for his degree, as a lot of people who leave the program early do. All though it will be tougher with only one year under his belt. Just don't let anyone give you grief for attending your graduation, no matter what NBA game is on that day, OK?
