Very Few Rebounds, Very Few Stops

Not a great start from the Heels. Dayton’s deep, so I’m not expecting much trailing off as halftime approaches.

First Half

UNC played pretty much like they’ve been playing in the better parts of this season. Dayton played like an actual good team, so they lead by 13. 45-32.

I Can't Remember

The last time Carolina was on the right side of an extended scoring run. The first Georgia Tech game, maybe? Will Graves played a big role in that one, too.

Oh well

The team played hard. Zeller picked up the scoring slack for Henson. Thompson was efficient and Graves played out of his mind. Drew did a serviceable job running the offense. It’s unfortunate that McDonald and Strickland didn’t provide anything outside of frustration. I am proud of this team.

Sorry, boys

Look on the bright side? There won’t be any more NIT championship games to lose going forward. All we have to look forward to is getting upset in the (9) vs. (24) game of the expanded NCAA Tournament.

As Long as Everyone Presses the NCAA Reps Like Feinstein Did

…every time they appear, it will almost be worth it.

No wait, it won’t.

Comparison?

This UNC team was like Oasis, got off to a great start, they we’re pretty bad after that, they got better at the end, and I will end up defending them in 10 years.
