This is what College Park is digging itself out of today. Actually, it's probably worse – my neighborhood apparently got off easy.

Has had a couple of balls just slip out of his hands. Can the football team get him some stickum or something?

Most of Maryland's Points

in this run have come off of broken plays that result in Sean Hayes threes. I’m happy with defensive performance so far.

UNC is starting to make their easy buckets. Early on they weren’t falling and UMd was getting open looks.

Three Point Shooting

The Terps are 9 for 16, and their misses bounce back long for offensive rebounds. Maryland is quite content to pack it in and make UNC shoot over them, which is the smart play.

Terps burning it up from 3 — if we can tighten up the perimeter D 2nd half we might have ourselves a ball game.

UNC's Defense

Keeps letting Maryland in. You bait a guy into a bad drive into four defenders, and then send him to the line with a foul.

That’s what I’m talkin’ about HENSON!

Second Straight Game

Henson’s done that drive and left-handed dunk. It’s good to se him gaining confidence and developing a strong move.

A Four Point Deficit Becomes 11

The moment UNC feels the momentum turn agains them they just completely panic.

Down 20

I just tuned into the game and we’re down 20. Vasquez has a double double. Nothing to see here besides what I’ve already seen.

If You Want to See a Contrast in Defense

Look where the UNC big men get the ball versus the Maryland guys. There’s a reason UNC’s shots are all hitting the front rim.

I am a delusional Tar Heel fan

I thought the C of C loss was going to be the worst loss of the year. I knew this was going to be a down year by Carolina standards, but I never thought the Heels would be in danger of missing the Dance. This game is reminiscent of the Kris Lang days. Lord have mercy on us all.
