Plenty of time to get in depth between today and September but for now we'll look quickly at the biggest games on the Heels 2010 football schedule.

Yates has got to play well for the Heels to be bowl eligible.

Bowl Eligibility

I’m going to be honest, if the Heels are fighting for bowl eligibility this season would be a monumental disappointment. With the defense returning, the receivers a year older and more experience and depth on the offensive line I fully expect us to push to the nine win plateau on the backs of our defense.

If you’ve seen anything I write or post I’m a fairly realistic guy who borders on pessimism more frequently than optimism. Fact is BD has got to do several things this year: Beat NC State, Beat Virginia, Beat Duke, Win home games (GT off a bye, Clemson, ECU, W&M), Get a positive 2-1 split with VT, FSU, Miami and get in LSU’s ass in the Georgia Dome is job #1.
