I'm new here on Carolina March, and as many of you I have a love for Carolina Basketball, but unfortunately I'm located on the West Coast and don't get a lot of Good North Carolina Basketball info so I'm happy that I found this site where I can get a buttload of Carolina Bball info.
Glad to Be on Board the Tar Heel Express.
What do you see as the strengths and weaknesses of this team compared to last years team? and if the tar heels make it to the championship who do you think is the most likely opponent(s)?

As to your question, I think this is almost the mirror image of last year’s squad. Not quite as deep, but improvements in the starting lineup have made that a wash. They’re certainly good enough to win it all, but with so much luck involved in the big dance, it can be a bit of a crapshoot.

this site seems like it has a lot less action than the other sites I see on SB Nation…
I’m in total agreement with you.. it seems like this team has a replication to last years team but what’s better than last years team I think is the fire that they have that wasn’t as visible as last years team when they were blowing teams at the beginning of the tourney by like 40-60 points. I think the fact that they lost when they were so close is what is driving them to win it all this year, and also they are clicking at the right times too.

Yeah, there's not a lot of action here...
but it will come with time. I remember that, well before I had an account here, almost all of the SBNation blogs were essentially dead. Most now are very healthy and still growing. Eventually, the Carolina fans will find this place and make it a regular part of their daily read.
