McDonald's All-Americans Announced; Four to UNC
The lineups for the annual hamburger game are out, and four incoming Carolina players are on it. Dexter Strickland will be playing for the East, while John Henson and the brothers Wear will be playing for the West. Duke has to incoming players in the game, while Georgia Tech and Clemson have one apiece.
Rush the Court would like to remind you that Neil Fingleton is an alumni of this game, as are many UNC and Duke players who did not go on to bring the basketball world to its knees. People are poor judges of high school talent's future college performance - Film at 11.

Just another example of Ol' Roy kicking Coach K's ass at recruiting.
K should have taken the Lakers job when he had the chance.
You don't know what you are talking about.
Duke got exactly what they needed out of the 2009 class — athletic, versatile size. Coach K focused on 2010, and already has impressive commitments and is on the verge of a few more that will make his 2010 group the #1 class in the nation next year.
You know what else? It is basically 2 Micky D’s AA’s each really this year…the Wear bros are ranked in the upper 40s and are more likely selected because of the appeal of their story and even a bit of a freaky-factor rather than the level/quality of their talents. Sorry. …But if you want to look at this as some sort of victory…I guess more power to you.
Go Hawks!
Hey CUNKNNK
I don’t look at it as a victory. Truth be told, i just like giving Duke shit whenever possible. But, if you want to deny the fact that Carolina has had superior recruiting classes over Duke then you are out of your skull. How many players does Duke currently have that could crack the starting line up at Carolina right now? One, Gerald Henderson, and that’s it. And don’t even bring the Kyle Singler crap. That dude is soft. 6’8" kid that would rather launch threes than get dirty down low.
2010 huh? You mean the same year that Carolina already has 2 five star commitments compared to your one? Seems odd that they could have the #1 ranked class. The one that has the #1 shooting guard in the country coming to Carolina? Oh yeah, that one. But then again, you did say K was “on the verge”. Good luck with that. Hmmm. So Coach K has focused on 2010. Thats your excuse. Wow. Its getting pretty pathetic in Cameron these days. Roy seems to do it every year. He doesn’t seem to focus on every couple of years. As far as the “athletic, versatile size, well uh, isn’t that what this years class was supposed to bring? Ryan Kelly? Mason Plumlee? They can’t even get off the freakin bench. For your sake, i hope the "athletic, versatile size” guys you get in 2010 do a lot better.
Hope i didn’t bore you with a bunch of facts. But then again, I don’t know what i’m talking right? Riiiiiiiigggggggggghhhhhhttttttt.
