I'm
here, I was having computer trouble but I’m locked and loaded for this. Keeping the victory bell is important.
ItsFELDER
Field Goal
we’re running the ball well, two missed deep balls but we’ll be alright there are things there. our defense is up next and this is what I have been waiting to see.
ItsFELDER
It's Been a While
since UNC had a scoring drive to start the game. Decent sign, even if it should have been 7.
agreed
we definitely needed to put points up.

Oh Crap
Gave up a huge retern to the Vernon kid from Duke. Can’t have that. the defense better be ready for the quick passes
ItsFELDER
Robert Quinn!!
The kid has 12 tfl’s and 8 sacks. that’s how we need to play. Get to the quarterback
ItsFELDER
good stand
I don’t trust cutcliffe though. he’s a shifty sob and he’s going to probe until he find something he can use
ItsFELDER
Draughn
He’s in the locker room getting looked at. Ingersoll is hurt and Lowell Dyer is out for the game with flu.
ItsFELDER
3rd and manageable
As long as we stay in third and manageable we’ll be ok. The Duke defense is going to shift all day that coordinator is a smart guy
ItsFELDER
MacIntyre and Hobby
co-coordinators both NFL guys

I Hope Ryan's in Shape
He’s getting more carries than normal. Little and Elzy will have to spell him because I doubt he can play a whole game
ItsFELDER
Well, the Line Was Holding Up
Until the last two plays. If they have to do a pass-heavy offense to spellHouston, it’ll work better than it was last month.
The kid who deflected that pass
Little known fact, I hosted him on his visit to carolina. It didn’t go well. He didn’t go to carolina.
ItsFELDER
zone dogs
I love a good zone dog. they are awesome plays and quarterbacks never expect them
ItsFELDER
Caldwell
Jim Caldwell ran a little bit of the option years ago. None of this Duke or UNC staff except Browning, was at the school when they did. Grobe’s team ran a lot of “wing t” early under Grobe. Until about 2007-2008. They went more pro style and again neither Cut nor Butch was here when they ran that.

Wake doesn’t have any of the horses on defense to stop GT

give up three not a seven

I don't trust that
I’m telling you, don’t trust that. Cutcliffe is probing. He’s like Andy Reid. He’s gonna find a guy or two on our defense who isn’t doing their job and he’ll keep going there until we overcompensate. then he’ll go somewhere else.

Sidenote
what the hell was the safety at tech thinking leaving a guy uncovered. great play by #2 calling that time out.
ItsFELDER
About Time
Its about time Dwight Jones showed something. He was supposed to be in the class with AJ Green and Julio Jones and so far he’s struggle immensely.
ItsFELDER
38-31
Pack just closed it out. Maryland is eliminated from post season play. State has 5 losses, they’re one loss away.
ItsFELDER
snap
his throws off, finish with his shoulders at his target and get the damn ball to the receivers

exactly
its those “empty” drives

Woody Durham
He just went “light blue curtain” to signify the UNC d-line. that is not, at anytime, acceptable.
ItsFELDER
Lewis is looking to the sidelines a lot, often mid-snap count. I don’t know if the D is truly rattling him, or Cutcliffe just wants to change things up often.
He's doing what
OU does. They come out in a formation and line up. Fake a snap count. Then look to the sideline and Cutcliffe calls a play based upon what he sees. They’re hoping that we show what sort of coverage, blitz or stunt that we’re in during that time where they “fake snap it” so they can call a play to exploit it.

This sucks
Now we’re dealing with them getting first downs and slowly getting within striking distance.
ItsFELDER
Best Position
This is the best position to have Duke it. conventional coaching says they have to run, but they know they can’t run the ball. So now they’re really in a bind. This is the place where running that shotgun styled offense kills you
ItsFELDER
Notice the BS Spot
that was ridiculous

WOWOWOW
The kid Thad is just good. He is impressive. They’ve driven right into our house. We need to get a turnover. We cannot have them score and get the ball back after the half
ItsFELDER
crap
great, way to stop the clock and give them the ball at the twelve with three free shots
ItsFELDER
6-6
Crappy first half offensively. Defensively can’t complain; field position sacrificed those points.
ItsFELDER
Hate to say it
I told you, Cutcliffe was finding a way to get positive play. They found our soft spot and adjusted. We need to be strong up the middle, stay in our lanes
ItsFELDER
Our DTs
were getting out of their rushing lanes and he exploited it.

What that means
Is that now Austin, Powell, Thomas etc, will be slower and more disciplined, which will give Lewis a place to step up in the pocket.

YESSIR
There we go, play action is working. The Heels are moving the ball. We cannot stop this progress. Stay on the attack Shoop
ItsFELDER
C'mon Dwight
That is tough. Jones has got to get his hands right. The corner did nothing and Jones has got to make that catch.
ItsFELDER
Moving The Ball
That is what we need to do. Keep moving the football. Keep pushing the ball to the end zone
ItsFELDER
Damn
interception. with a return. that sucks. we finally take a shot and get a tipped ball interception. crap
ItsFELDER
At least they
can save the day.

by MichaelFelder on Nov 7, 2009 6:01 PM EST up reply actions
Hell Yeah
There we go movin the football. He should’ve gotten into the endzone but its all good
ItsFELDER
Dang dang dang
McAdoo has got to get out of the way, that was a score. we were so close to that PR TD right there
ItsFELDER
we have a
15 minute edge in time of possession right now

He is absolutely a beast, even with that block in the back he killed the kid, that’s what you’re taught to do
