I Don't Care What the Broadcast Booth Says

Miami does not have an “outside chance” at an at-large BCS bowl bid.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 3:35 PM EST reply actions

Yeah

They do because if they win out they’re top 12 at worst and that means they get taken over Boise St and any other small market team. Its about $ and name recognition

Good series

I’m back, that was a solid series. I had to go laptop for this one

Houston

He’s gonna get beat the hell up. If he can weather the storm early he’ll hurt them late. The problem is him getting to late

Yes

We have to use other guys to keep Houston out of abuse every single play.

He’ll be one of our best players a year from now

Two Straight Series

where Yates has had a bad throw on third down. Not that the offense has done much to get him a good third down situation.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 3:52 PM EST reply actions

That Greg Little

Throw wasn’t a bad one. I think he saw #50 sitting there and if its out in front its a pick

Nice Interception

Rattling Harris early can only help.

Elzy

he’s got to be productive. if for nothing more than to spell Houston

bad throw

That was a horrible pass. he was backing up and tried to fit it in a spot that wasn’t there. that one pissed me off.

Defense

As long as we keep our defense turned up this is a game.

I need to get a Twitter client for the Mac, because the web interface doesn’t notify me about those sort of things.

The Heels Had Cooper in the Backfield

Shouldn’t have allowed that first down.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 4:00 PM EST reply actions

How Many Different Tar Heels

have touched the ball already today? Shoop is pulling out all sorts of strange plays.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 4:08 PM EST reply actions

Yeah

He’s dialing it up again. I told you that bye week was where they did a lot of work and innovation. He realized he can’t win the way he did last year so he’s got to go back to his roots; that guy grew up being an innovative SOB

Seriously? Why in the heck are we calling a TO when we just had some success. Tempo is such an underrated part of the game.

Nice Catch and Run for the TD

Looks like the melange of temporary running backs has freed Little up to do what he does best.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 4:17 PM EST reply actions

Yup

Make plays because he’s still stuck somewhere between a true wideout and an RB. He runs like an RB still but is capable as a wideout. Can you imagine ND’s offense with little, floyd and tate?

be an athlete

redirect on the screen. That is ridiculous that the defensive line didn’t redirect on that screen. they all recognized it too late. they’ve got to make it happen quicker, especially Austin.

don’t ever compare anyone to romo, it is not a compliment.

Inventive

Shoop has got his mojo going. Great call, especially with Greg in the seam to occupy the saftey.

Two Poor Throws to Pianalto

Not getting a touchdown from within the ten is something you just can’t do in a big game.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 4:36 PM EST reply actions

Also

Has Casey Barth ever taken the field without the announcers mentioning Connor? How annoying must that be?

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 4:37 PM EST reply actions

Living in the shadow

Connor was one of our great ones haha. He’s living in the shadow. That isn’t easy

Thats what I’m talking about. Burney making moves.

ItsFELDER

by MichaelFelder on Nov 14, 2009 4:41 PM EST reply actions

Wow.

Burney went up high for that, and by the time he hit the ground he already knew where he was going with the ball.

I hate when they outrun the blockers

Jacory Harris haters are loving this game.

I still don’t get how there are even haters of the kid. He’s so damn smooth

ItsFELDER

by MichaelFelder on Nov 14, 2009 5:10 PM EST up reply actions

I think the smoothness is what they hate. Mostly extracurriculars like this:

“Jacory, when was the last time you had protection that good?”
“Um, last night.”

Press conference win!

I told you; save Houston to use him. Now they’re tired, soft and he’s making + plays.

Reckon Shoop will calm down and stick with Houston or keep innovating?

by Targyle on Nov 14, 2009 5:53 PM EST up reply actions

I Knew

as soon as the play-by-play guy said Miami needed to throw, that they’d have more success on the ground. Berry’s getting a couple of good runs, while the defense is now flushing out Harris with only a three-man rush.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 5:53 PM EST reply actions

…was the most bizarre thing I’ve seen in awhile. It has to be reviewed, right?

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 6:29 PM EST reply actions

It stands. And Randy Shannon is justifiably pissed.

by T.H. on Nov 14, 2009 6:33 PM EST up reply actions

A freaking play call from review that went our way. He fumbled that ball awesome.
