Very Good Awareness

Of the backdoor cutto get the steal for Justin Watts. His name didn’t come up much in the preseason, but he’s making the most of his playing time.

Dear N.C. Central

Tyler Zeller just beat your entire team down the court. You may want to hustle.

Exhaustion Is Setting in for NCCU

Even though it’s the first half, their shots are no longer falling, they’re sloppy with their passes and bobbling the ball. The peris of playing a team this deep that loves to run.

NCCU

Has decided to run with the Heels. It doesn’t appear to be a good decision, but give them credit, they’re sticking with it.

Like Freshmen, for the Most Part

D. Wear had some good plays solely on hustle in the first half, and Strickland had two consecutive threes, but Roy is playing the upperclassmen more tonight; right now the lineup is Drew/Ginyard/Zeller/Thompson/Davis.

D. Wear Heads to Bench Limping

But it doesn’t look serious. I don’t have audio; let me know if there’s any news.

I’m guessing you can see that he’s back on the court.

But what if he just switched jersies with his… oh, wait, we have two Wears on the court now.

Henson Needed That Block

He’s had some bad shots and the missed dunk – an unqualified success is good for him.

Montross said he blocked it with his armpit. Great mental image.
