Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

On the Bright Side...

UNC got 14 points in the AP poll. That, along with three from the coaches' poll, means that twelve to seventeen people got really bored when filling out the bottom of their ballots.

In case you're wondering who's likely to be throwing the Tar Heels a little love, the ACC coaches in the poll this year are Frank Beamer (VT), Bowdens Bobby (FSU) and Tommy (Clemson), Jim Grobe (Wake), Tom O'Brien (NCSU)  and our very own Butch Davis. Mack Brown also gets to punch a ballot, as does Steve Spurrier, who didn't give Duke the last place vote for once.

The local sportwriters rocking the vote are Bill Cole of the Winston-Salem Journal,  Joe Giglio of the News & Observer, and Taylor Zarzour of WPTF 680 AM. Awesomely enough, the AP publishes their ballots online for our perusal; none voted for UNC.
