Nobody Knows Nothin': Polls Edition
Because I like to make pretty, confusing plots, this week's Top 25 polls by conference:
Yes, the ACC has the same number of teams in the Top 25 as the Mountain West and the WAC each. And those conferences' teams are ranked higher. But that's not the interesting thing:
That's right, a full 30% of the teams also receiving votes in at least one of the two polls are from the ACC. That's half the conference. Unlike the Big East or the Pac 10, where everybody knows who's good and who's a last cause, the voters are convinced there's someone in the conference worth being in the poll; they just can't agree on who that is. Hell, one mad coach picked Duke. The ACC - they're not dead, just hibernating.
