It's Not Going to Be Texas
Sorry Peter, but you'll never see me saddened by an early tournament exit for Rick Barnes. We're all being denied our chance to see Kevin Durant versus the Heels' talent, as Texas fell to the other USC, 87 to 68. Instead, UNC meets a small, guard-heavy team in the Virginia Tech vein, the type that's given UNC fits all year. This team has most of the players back from the squad that upset Carolina last year - it'll be interesting to see how the returning players respond.
On the bright side though, I'm positive this will be the game CBS shows in the Southern California market. No low resolution internet video for me.

I'm crying inside
It wasn't our day. People kept asking me, "Are you really worried about USC?" And I kept saying, "They play physical perimeter defense and are going to give Augustin fits. That's killed Texas all year."
I didn't think we'd LOSE, but I knew we'd be in for a fight.
Damnit. Hoops season is over?
